House of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Commemorates Arbaeen 2020

The House of Grand Shia Islamic Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom commemorated the fortieth day after Imam Husayn’s martyrdom, also known as the Day of Arbaeen, on the 20th of Safar. This commemoration was attended by the Grand Jurist, the believers, as well as many cultural and religious figures. The lecturers addressed various aspects of the great movement of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) and emphasized on upholding the rituals of the Ashura Tragedy.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
