Flag of Imam Husain Raised at AhlulBayt University Campus in Holy Karbala

A flag with the name of Imam Husain (AS) was raised at the campus of AhlulBayt University in holy Karbala to honor the martyrdom of the master of martyrs, Imam Husain (AS) during a ceremony.

Dr. Mohsen Qazwini, the founder of this University said: “The commemoration of Ashura is a collective duty, to which all believers feel responsible.”

He then added: “The raising of Imam Husain’s flag at the campus is an annual ritual at AhlulBayt University and many other universities across Iraq to honor the sacrifices of Imam Husain (AS) and his loyal companions.”

This ceremony was attended by some cultural and religious activists, as well as academics and students at AhlulBayt University.
