8th of Muharram 1440/2018 Commemorations Held at the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Qom

The Central Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi commemorates Ashura memorials for the eighth day in the Holy City of Qom, Iran. Furthermore, other offices and Islamic centers affiliated to the Grand Jurist also held commemorations in different parts of the world.

These commemorations were attended by crowds of scholars, clerics, religious activists and public groups of people from different Muslim countries. The speakers talked about the significance of Imam Hussain’s uprising and the sacred rituals to remember his sacrifices. The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi holds commemorations for 13 consecutive days in Persian and Arabic.
