Member of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s Office Visits Maronite Priest

Sheikh Mohammad Ali Fouani, one of the members of the Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut visited Joseph Raei, a Maronite priest in this country. In this meeting, the common grounds between Islam and Christianity as well as peaceful coexistence were emphasized. Furthermore, Sheikh Fouani gave the book of “The Awakening Jurist”, written by Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi and the book of Nonviolence in Islam, written by the late Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi to the Christian priest.
