Baraka Foundation Activity in Iraq

Baraka Cultural and Charity Foundation, affiliated to the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Baghdad ran series of humanitarian and cultural programs during this year’s Muharram. In order to commemorate the Ashura tragedies, this foundation has started series of ceremonies during the second ten days of the month of Muharram in holy Karbala. It is worth noting that Baraka foundation has also launched a campaign titled “Rewards of Pilgrimage to Imam Hussein”, and started collaborations with al-Noor Center to donate food baskets, clothing and religious flags to the public. Many needy and low-income households have received donations by this foundation so far.
