Aref Nasrullah Meets Head of Shiite Shrines Secretariat
Mr. Aref Nasrullah, the Public Relations Manager of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala praised the late Shia scholar, Sheikh Ahmed bin Fahad Hilli as a remarkable role model and an outstanding scholarly character, whose absence is greatly felt at all times.
Mr. Aref Nasrullah, in a meeting with Mohsen Asad Al-Kaabi, the head of Shiite Shrines Secretariat on Thursday said:
“Not too many people appreciate the great and epic character of this great Shia scholar, who is among the few exemplary figures in the history of Shia Islam.”
He then added:
“The late scholar bin Fahad Hilli had deep respects and understanding of the great position of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) to the extent that this scholar removed any garbage or trash at the vicinity of the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). He was very observant of the sanctity of Karbala, because this land is home to the shrine of the Master of Martyrs.”
Further in this meeting, the PR manager of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi elaborated on some of the cultural and religious programs of this center such as the distribution of books, Quran training courses, and etcetera. He also pointed to the renovation projects at the shrine of the late Bin Fahad Hilli.
In return, the head of Shiite Shrines Secretariat praised the PR Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi for its wide ranging activities. Further, he mentioned that his department intends to publish a book about the historical backgrounds of sacred sites and the books of the late Bin Fahad Hilli.
