Mourning Imam Husayn’s Martyrdom at Zainabiya Seminary in Syria

The Islamic Seminary of Zainabiya, affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi hosted the commemorations of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) in Damascus, Syria. The Shia women at this center remembered the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (PBUH) and the afflictions of his family. Recitation of holy Quran and Ziarat Ashura as well as holding the rituals of Imam Husayn (PBUH) were some parts of these commemorations.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
