Second Day of Commemorations at the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Karbala

The Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Karbala hosted the second day of commemorations of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (peace be upon him). This commemoration began with recitation of holy Quran, and continued with a lecture by Sheikh Zuhair Al-Assadi, who talked about the struggles of the Holy Prophet of Islam and his Pure Progeny in upholding the divine message of Islam. Cultural and religious figures, and the believers participated in this commemoration.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
