Commemorations of Lady Om Al-Banin Peace Be Upon Her Around the World

The Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala commemorated the passing anniversary of Lady Om Al-Banin (peace be upon her) on Saturday, February 8, 2020. This religious commemoration was attended by groups of cultural, religious and social figures. Sheikh Jawad Al-Ebrahimi talked about the great role of this noble lady and her services to the holy Infallibles.

In addition, the Public Relations Office of Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi honored the memory of Lady Om Al-Banin, the wife of the holy Imam Ali (peace be upon her & him) in holy Karbala. Sheikh Ali Mojahed, Sayed Aref Nasrullah, and many other cultural and religious figures took part in this memorial service.

The Community of Servants of Ali Akbar, affiliated to the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala also commemorated the passing of Lady Om Al-Banin (peace be upon her) in this City. Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi delivered speeches to the public at this religious commemoration, which was held at the shrine of Hurr Reyahi.

Also on this occasion, the Ale Yasin Husayniya held commemorations in Sydney, Australia. These commemorations, which continued for three consecutive nights, hosted groups of Shia believers and lovers of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them) in this country.

The Shia Muslims in Mahajanga City of Madagascar also remembered the passing of Lady Om Al-Banin (PBUH) on February 8, 2020. The recitation of the holy Quran, the famous hadith Al-Kisa, and religious speeches with respect to the great character of Lady Om Al-Banin were only some of the programs at this commemoration.
