Representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Visits Islamic Centers in Australia
The president of Imam Shirazi World Foundation and a representative of the Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in the US, along with Sheikh Makki Akhund, another representative of the Grand Jurist in the US visited several Shia Islamic Centers in different cities of Australia during the first ten days of Muharram.
The two representatives of the Grand Jurist visited Islamic Centers and Shia Communities in Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. In these visits, the directives and guidelines of the Grand Jurist were conveyed and the current situation of Shia Muslims in Australia was studied. The Grand Jurist’s representatives also underscored the importance of self-purification and the achievement of high scientific levels for the youth.
During his visit, Sheikh Mohammad Taqi Zakeri also visited and created a report of the poor conditions of Shia refugees in Australia. This report will be handed over to the human rights foundations.
