Imam Shirazi World Foundation Publishes Statement on International Day of Peace

Coinciding with the International Day of Peace on September 21, Imam Shirazi World Foundation published a statement that reads as follows:

“Islam has pioneered all other religions in the establishment of peace and human rights, alongside peaceful coexistence as supported in many verses of the holy Quran and traditions of the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) and his noble household.

In this respect, the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi has repeatedly emphasized:

Islam is the religion of peace and we should disseminate this faith to the entire world. Islam, with its great potentials, tries to uproot sedition, war and destruction at all times.

The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi also says:

Islam abhors violence, terrorism, treason and betrayal in all its forms and shapes.

Imam Shirazi World Foundation also celebrates the World Day of Peace on September 21, and calls on the international community to adopt a moderate approach towards constructive dialogue in order to resolve all crises in all parts of our world.

The events unfolding in our world today pose great threats to the entire humanity, which can only be dodged by adopting morals, the rule of law and wisdom. At the moment, the crises and challenges in the middle east have strongly impacted the entire world and therefore, it requires an international resolution to attend to these crises.”
