Imam Shirazi Center Organizes Ashura Procession in Canada

Imam Shirazi Center in Canada organized a mourning procession in Montreal to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Master of Martyrs Imam Hussain peace be upon him. This procession was also attended by members of other Islamic centers in Montreal. The Shia held placards of Shia slogans in Persian, Arabic, English and French during the event. Pamphlets and flyers to explain the uprising of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) were also distributed among the Canadian nationals.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)
