Celebration of the Eid Al-Ghadeer at Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

Coinciding with the glorious Eid Al-Ghadeer, which marks the heavenly appointment of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as the immediate successor of the holy Prophet of Islam, the Central Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom held celebrations. These ceremonies were attended by groups of Shia believers, religious scholars, clerics, media activists, and pilgrims of Lady Fatimah Masoumeh Shrine, who congratulated this auspicious occasion to the Grand Jurist. During these ceremonies, the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi also congratulated this day to all humanity, and prayed for the speedy reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his advent).

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (2)

The Beneficent, the Merciful (3)

Master of the Day of Judgment (4)

Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help (5)

Keep us on the right path (6)

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray (7)

Chapter Al-Ikhlas.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1)

Say: He, Allah, is One (2)

Allah is He on Whom all depend (3)

He begets not, nor is He begotten (4)

And none is like Him (5)
